I was born in Laramie, WY where my parents were attending UW. My dad was a petroleum geologist, so we lived in MS, LA, and TX. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1970 and started as Management Trainee with JCPenney and rose to store manager level at another retailer SRI. I did retail management for 23 years. I changed careers and became a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones for 21 years. I have been President of the Frisco, TX Rotary Club, President of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. I currently serve on the Foundation Board of NWC in Powell, WY and the Advisory Board of the McCracken Research Library at Center of the West in Cody, WY. I have an experience with Economic Development Corporations in Frisco, TX and here in Shell, WY. Our group has been in existence since 2019 and we have sponsored a Mental Health Fair in Shell and we are developing a Conservation Guide for Big Horn County. Our group also sponsored a Conservation Easement seminar in association with the Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust. We also sponsored a newspaper survey about the need for Independent Living Facility at South Big Horn County Hospital (now Three Rivers Hospital). We have one more project that is in the planning stage.
